Discovery Centre houses three floors of hands-on exhibits where the emphasis is on informal learning through play and fun. Explore science and technology through exciting and interactive experiences.

 May - September 2010, Diamonds

This dazzling exhibit is suitable for all ages. Dig into how a diamond is cut, why Canadian diamonds are among the most valued in the world and how diamonds are formed and mined out of the ground. Visitors can size diamonds, evaluate colour and determine cut while marveling at replicas of some of the world's most famous diamonds.

During the exhibit visit the Front Desk or The Discovery Shop to purchase $2 ticket for your chance to win a $19,000 loose Canadian diamond from Charm Diamond Centres.
