Little Learners 
The Discovery Centre is committed to providing engaging and entertaining programs for young children, and Little Learners is a new program that sparks an interest in science and technology at an early age.
This new program is designed especially for three to five-year-olds and their guardians. Join us on Tuesday mornings from 10:00am for four weeks beginning January 10th. Each themed session will feature a 30-minute presenter-led workshop, facilitated drop-in activities and of course a chance to explore all three floors of Discovery Centre! | Theme 1 | Bubbles! | Learn about the properties of bubbles, make your own bubble trumpet and discover some bubble tricks in our Bubble Room |
| Theme 2 | It’s Alive! | Meet our worms and discover what makes something living. Make your own grasshead and learn how to take care of it at home. |
| Theme 3 | Senses | Explore your five senses is this hands, eyes, ears, nose and tongues on session! Take part in our senses challenge and create your own sensory book. |
| Theme 4 | Space! | Step into the starry skies of our planetarium for a show about night and day, stars and planets. Come back down to Earth in time to take part in a rocket launch. |
The cost per session is as follows:
$10 per child for a single session
$8 per child, per session for all four sessions, booked and paid at once
$5 per child, per session for Discovery Centre members
One adult admission FREE with each child admission. Admission is good for full day.

Day Cares
Join us for a new program for day care groups.
This new program is designed especially for three to five-year-olds and features a 30-minute presenter-led workshop, a facilitated creative activity and the chance to explore all three floors of Discovery Centre. There are two different themes to choose from that are sure to appeal to your curious tots!
